What applies to foxes also applies to badgers at this time of year/
If you see a dead badger(or fox) PLEASE stop and check if it has extended teats and is lactating. If it is a lactating sow then call Bristol Wildlife Rescue as soon as possible as there may be orphaned badger/fox cubs that need rescuing.
It only needs a quick check but it could save orphaned cubs.
